French officers open terror probe after police officer fatally stabbed, attacker shot useless


French prosecutors have opened a terror probe in connection to the Friday assault on a police officer who was killed inside a police station outdoors Paris.

Police shot and killed the attacker on the scene, authorities mentioned.
